If you race, you break things. If you don't break
things, you're not trying hard enough.

Another burnt hole. This one isn't half as bad as our previous
malfunction.

This is what happens when you get a blocked fuel jet in a fogger.
The carnage...

This is what you call a burnt piston. this is basically what caused all
of the problems that we face today. What we believe happened is there
was some sort of a clog in the fuel jet of the #8 fogger nozzle on the
second stage. That in turn basically made the nozzle a flame thrower which
burnt a large hole through the top of this piston. We believe this
resulted in the connecting rod melting and snapping off which you will see from
the following pictures, did the rest of the damage.


These next couple of pictures are of the passenger's side frame rail
area. Apparently, when the rods blew out the side of the block, either the
explosion from the rods or the starter caused some pretty significant damage to
that frame rail. Take a look at how close we came to rupturing a fuel line
and causing more damage than all ready occurred.
